Remote Workforce: NCHL personnel are entirely remote, with some annual travel expected for most positions. Positions require the employee to use their cell phone with a data plan and home internet, with a set monthly stipend provided. All hires are required to maintain residence in the continental US.
Finance & Operations Manager (1.0 FTE)
This is a hybrid finance-and-operations role bringing NCHL’s day-to-day bookkeeping and financial operations in-house — covering everything from AP/AR and monthly close to event budgeting, member billing, and helping select and integrate a new association management system, all while our independent contractor, YPTC, continues on as a controller-level reviewer. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of solid accounting/bookkeeping experience (QuickBooks Online, full-cycle AP/AR, reconciliations), is genuinely comfortable using AI tools as part of daily workflow, and is energized by revenue growth and modeling new financial opportunities — someone who thrives working independently in a small, fully remote team and is ready to build processes from the ground up rather than just maintain existing ones.
